What is a Shy Guy?
I confess; I used to be a SHY GUY! What is a Shy Guy? Any guy who fails, refuses or can’t bring himself to approach women. These guys usually won't say one word to a girl… unless she speaks to them first. Even then, they might not speak back!

Everyday, they pass by available women who flirt with them and would love to talk with them, but these guys do what I used to do; clam up, turn tail and run for the hills.

Speaking from experience, this fixable disorder forces guys to use their shyness as an excuse for not engaging in healthy relationships with the opposite sex.

You would be amazed to learn that I use to treat being shy as some type of incurable disease. God forbid if anyone attempted to help me rid myself of my debilitating fear of women. They would be met with carefully thought out pontifications about how and why I was born that way and how there was no hope for guys like me.

Listen to guys like me long enough and you’d hear some of us get super religious and claim GOD cursed us with the SHY affliction. And then there are the ones who are SUPER SENSITIVE about their fear.

They will recoil when anyone attempts to show them how to break out of their shell that imprisons them. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, shy guys can be a work of art, to say the least. Remember; this comes from a guy who used to be part of the fraternal order of the society of shy guys.

What is the Shy Guy Society?
It's a private fraternity for guys who have relegated themselves to being shy and essentially remaining unattached for the rest of their lives. Remember the movie, “The "40 Year Old Virgin?" It starred Steve Carrell playing the role of a shy guy who just couldn’t bring himself to talking to women. He definitely was in the Society. The Society serves as a place of solace where guys can fellowship and talk about issues such as:

What Shy Guys Talk About Why won’t women approach us? Why did GOD make us shy? Should all shy guys become priests? What do shy guys do on Friday and Saturday nights? How to be alone and miserable for the rest of our lives Where to hide when we go to clubs How to avoid eye contact with a girl How to ignore a girl when she is flirting with us How to convince others that being shy is our irrevocable lot in life How to avoid MANNING UP How to avoid facing our fears

How Does One Become a Member of The Shy Guy Society?
It’s simple; first and foremost, they must be adept at making plausible excuses. AND, their excuses and reasons why they can’t approach women must be persuasive and believable. They have to be able to wiggle their way out of facing the man in the mirror. They must be thoroughly convincing as to why they CANNOT and WILL NOT face and interact with women on a romantic level. This is the foundation and cornerstone of the life of all shy guys. They have the uncanny ability to create a seemingly valid excuse for any and everything related to not approaching women, picking up girls, dating, seducing women and romancing women.

Examples of some of their excuses…

• She’s W-A-Y out of my league!
• She’s probably heard all the pick up lines already
• I was born to be shy, therefore there’s no since in trying
• I get S-O-O nervous around women
• My dad never taught me about women
• My mom never taught me about women
• My brother never taught me about women
• My sister, my aunt, my niece, my priest my boss, etc., etc., never taught me about women
• She probably doesn’t want to talk to me anyway
• She’s probably dating already
• If only I looked like Tom Cruise, Tom Brady or James Bond
• If only I was rich as Donald Trump or Bill Gates
• If only I had a body like Mr. Universe or LL Cool J
• If only I could croon like Barry White or Steve Perry

What Most Shy Guys Don’t Know But Wished They Did
To understand the truth about ALL shy guys, one must first properly define, “SHY.” The night that I read this, was my turning point to breaking out of the [sic] SHY GUY SOCIETY, (which is actually a self imposed prison).
